Bringing your renovator onto defects.sg

Your defect list works best when your renovator is on the project with you.

Find them

In your project, search for your renovator by name or by firm. If they're listed, add them and they get a request to join.

Invite them

Most firms aren't on defects.sg yet. If yours isn't, copy the invite and send it on WhatsApp. We tell you the moment they join.

A firm being absent says nothing about them. The registry is new.

While you wait

You get 14 days of full use. After that the project turns read-only: everything stays there to read and share, and it opens again exactly as you left it the moment your renovator joins.

If nobody joins, the list is removed 30 days later. We email you before that happens.

Once they've joined

Your renovator has 14 days to answer the request. Once they accept, they see your list when you send it. They can reply to each defect, but they can never edit or delete yours.
